The quality of time has changed and will continue to change.
We are living in combustible times.
Since November 2024, the astro heavyweights, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, have all changed signs. This isn’t just symbolic; it reflects the upheaval we feel on the ground.
Importantly, Saturn transited from dreamy, dissolving Pisces into Aries, the God of War, ruled by Mars.
Pluto has exited Capricorn and entered Aquarius, the sign of rebellion and revolution, but also of rigid ideology and collective control.
Earth + Water = MUD
Air + Fire = EXPLOSION
Ancient lands. Ancient cultures.
Bombs fall. Genocide against neighbours.
Millions face starvation, displacement, and terror.
This is not metaphor.
This is not a cycle.
This is violence and oppression in real time.
When You Feel Overwhelmed
In fast, intense times, it’s natural to feel helpless.
We move through our lives safe, or safer, knowing that for many in our human family, survival is uncertain.
So start where you are.
Let it pierce your numbness.
Don’t look away.
Then take practical action.
- Give and share what you can.
- Call your political representatives.
- Support grassroots resistance and frontline aid.
- Check in with those directly impacted, if possible.
- Refuse numbness and disengagement.
Use the Internet to Connect and Act
In this era of global connectivity, you are not powerless.
Use your online access to amplify truth, support resistance, and stay informed.
Reach out to impacted communities, journalists, and organisers.
Follow their lead. Share their words.
Don’t centre yourself, centre action.
Digital presence is not enough, but it’s not nothing.
Use your platforms to disrupt silence.
Use your inbox and bank account to move resources.
Use your attention wisely, don’t disappear.
And Then, Create
Culture is collapsing, not symbolically, but structurally.
Systems are failing. Institutions are hollow.
Power is hoarded. Lives are lost.
This isn’t the time for vague comfort or spiritual bypassing.
These are not new-age platitudes of ‘evolutionary shifts’.
This is fierce urgency.
This is choosing to act, not transcend.
When culture collapses, we must create culture that:
- Holds space for grief, rage, and contradiction
- Builds justice into its foundations
- Resists dominant narratives and demands accountability
You Are a Culture-Maker
If you have privilege, use it.
Not to transcend or escape but to build. To repair. To connect.
You are a culture-maker when you:
- Speak truth when silence is expected
- Use art, words, ritual, and presence to resist
- Refuse the illusion of neutrality
Not because the old world is “ending” in some abstract sense, but because millions of lives depend on the new world we make.
This work is urgent.
It is dangerous.
It is necessary.
Refuse to Forget
When culture collapses, create culture that refuses to forget.
Create culture that remembers who we are.
Create culture that demands accountability.
Create culture that fights and lives for life.
